Laurie COMBES practises mainly in criminal law, particularly white-collar criminal law and planning criminal law.

She joined VOULAND as an associate in January 2020, having previously been a trainee lawyer and then an in-house legal adviser at the firm for a year.

During her legal training, Laurie COMBES developed significant skills through assignments in the City of Marseille’s planning advisory and legal department. She was responsible for defending planning permissions challenged in litigation, both in summary and substantive proceedings. She also appeared before the criminal courts to represent the City in cases involving breaches of the Planning Code.

She also has particular experience in prison law, having been a volunteer in charge of relations with the prison administration at the GENEPI association for two years.

At the firm, she has acted in several serious and less serious criminal proceedings, in a variety of disputes (the commission for compensation of crime victims, nullities, pre-trial detention, sentence adjustments).
