Laurie BARBEZAT has been an associate at VOULAND since July 2024.

She practises mainly in criminal law and white-collar criminal law.

Before joining the firm, she began her training at the VIGO firm in Paris, where she developed expertise in preventing breaches of probity and in compliance with the Sapin II Law, as well as in implementing internal whistleblowing systems.

At the same time, she taught at CY Cergy Paris University as a tutor in company law and banking law, as well as in introduction to law.

Then, following a placement at a law firm in the United States, she developed a passion for criminal law and continued her career at two Paris criminal law firms, where she trained for two and a half years and acted at every stage of criminal proceedings, from police custody to the trial hearing and sentence adjustment proceedings.
